Best Practice Guide for Prospectss Tools

I’ve mentioned the best practices for using our social media tools in this blog. Try to follow these techniques/tips when using our tools for the best results.

Without wasting any time, let’s kick things off, shall we?

Fresh/New Accounts

I’d suggest you not to use newly created or fresh accounts. When you use new accounts for outreach, they get easily detected for bot activity. Also, you won’t be able to scrape more data if you are using any scraper tool, such as the Facebook Group Scraper or the LinkedIn Group Scraper tools. New accounts also get rate limited, which won’t help you get the most out of our tools. 

But don’t worry; we have battled-tested all our tools using our personal accounts to ensure safety. Also, if you want to avoid getting rate limited or flagged, you must use an aged account. They are less likely to be detected for any bot activities & are generally very safe to use. You can get aged/older accounts on Accsmarket or similar sites. 

If you’ve purchased social media accounts from a different region than your own, you may need to use proxies. Doing so can help you avoid any potential issues with the location of the accounts. On the other hand, if you’ve purchased those accounts from your own region, you may not need to use proxies.

It’s worth noting that using proxies can affect your experience on the platform, so it’s important to do your research to determine the best approach for your specific situation.​

What do you mean by an aged account?

So it’s best to use an account that’s been around the block for at least 9 to 12 months, as this shows that you’re a seasoned pro & not just a newbie trying to spam the platform.

The older the account, the better – because, let’s face it, social media platforms’ anti-spam filters can be a real pain. Plus, it’s important to keep your account active & engaged, so these platforms know you’re not doing any bot activity.

Best Practices for the Social Media Group Scraper Tools

To scrape the data of members from a Facebook or LinkedIn group, you need to join that group. Keep in mind that if you are an admin of the group, you won’t be able to scrape the members’ data. Only when you are a member of a Facebook or LinkedIn group can you scrape the data. 

You will approximately get the location of about 30%-40% of scraped members. Also, the number of emails you get may vary from group to group; generally, it’s between 0.2% to 30%. That’s why I’d suggest you scrape multiple groups with around 25k to 45k+ members in your niche/industry to get more data. You can also use the Facebook Auto Message Sender to reach the ones whose emails were not found. It will help you to effectively outreach to your target leads. 

You can switch tabs & let your scraping task continue in the background. However, you need to make sure that you don’t close the tab or refresh the page on which the tool is running. Also, keep in mind that your browser needs to be active & should not go to the screensaver.

Tool icon missing?

If you are unable to find the icon of any of these tools on the right-hand side of your browser even after downloading & installing it, you should hard refresh the tab. In google chrome, to hard refresh your page, press Ctrl+R(Windows/Linux) & for mac, press cmd+R.  

If it’s still not visible, I suggest uninstalling & reinstalling the latest extension tool. You can find the tool by searching for the tool’s name on Google Chrome Store or our Website.

How to authenticate the tool?

After downloading the tool, you must log in to your social media account(Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter). 

Then, you need to open the tool by clicking on the tool’s icon located on the right-hand side of a platform’s page.

Once you do that, authenticate your account using your Account Key & email. If you are a part of any team on Prospectss, use your team owner’s Account Key & the email(your email) from which you’ve signed up on Prospectss. Do not enter your social media email or password. We do not require your social media login credentials. Again, we do not have any means to access your social media accounts.

We do not have access to your account. Hence, we cannot post, like, comment or perform any activity through your social media account.

How to write personalized messages?

You will have to add a minimum of 3 messages that will be randomly sent to your desired prospects. Ensure that your messages are different & not the same.  

To create more than 3 messages, click on the plus sign available in the tool. If you wish to delete a few message templates, click the trashcan icon. You can write up to a maximum of 10 unique messages.

The more messages you write, the less likely they will end up in spam. You can include emojis or use any language you desire when writing messages. I’d highly suggest you not to add hyperlinks in your messages. People might end up skipping your message entirely due to safety reasons. Also, you risk a higher rate of detection by social media platforms of spam activities by including hyperlinks.

When sending messages with this method, you can personalize your message by addressing people using curly brackets {}.
For example, if you have a column named ‘First Name‘ in your CSV file, you can send a message – ‘Hi, {First Name} check out my new tutorial video.’

You can do this even for the last name or call out whichever column you’ve selected in the CSV. Simply enter the value of the column present in your CSV file & mention that inside the curly bracket before sending your message. 

I would also suggest you to keep your message short & crisp. Try initiating a conversation with your prospect rather than directly asking them to buy from you. Gain their trust before asking them to do business with you. 

Things to do about the delays between each auto message

For Facebook: 

After every message, there is a delay of 9.6 minutes. We’ve kept this default limit to keep your account safe. Thus, in one hour, you can send 6 custom auto messages which means you can send 150 messages in one day. We’ve set the default message limit to 72 messages which you can increase all the way up to the 150 message limit. Or, if you wish to send fewer messages, you can set your desired limit, which can be lowered to a minimum of 10 auto Facebook messages. 

Try starting slowly by sending 10 automated DMs on the first few days & slowly work your way up to sending 150 messages. This will also keep your account risk-free. 

For Instagram:

After every message, there is a delay of 20 minutes. We’ve kept this default limit to keep your account safe. Thus, in one hour, you can send 3 custom auto-messages. These are randomly sent, which means you can send 72 messages in one day

Try starting slowly by sending 10 automated DMs in the first few days & gradually increasing the limit for newly created accounts. Slowly work your way up to sending 72 messages to be fully safe. 

For Twitter: 

After every message, there is a delay of 3.36 minutes. We’ve kept this default limit to keep your account safe. Thus, you can send 16-17 custom auto-messages in one hour! These are randomly sent, which means you can send 400 messages in one day. Also, if you wish to discontinue, simply click on the Stop & Finish button or Pause if you want to halt the campaign.

Try starting slowly by sending 5-10 automated DMs in the first few days & gradually increasing the limit. Slowly work your way up to sending 400 messages.

How to send bulk messages?

If you want to send more than the current limit of messages, you can easily bypass the limit. For that, you’ll require multiple social media accounts & also Google Chrome profiles.

For you to easily understand, assume you have 10 Instagram accounts that you want to use to send more than the limited 72 messages per day you get from 1 account. You need to open those 10 Instagram accounts in 10 different Google Chrome profiles to send bulk Instagram messages to the people/businesses you want. We found this a way you can maximize your outreach in the safest way possible!

As I’ve mentioned earlier, you can purchase aged social media accounts on Accsmarket or other similar sites to send bulk messages from multiple user IDs. 

Best Practices for other Social Media Tools

For this, I’ll be talking about the 2 mentioned tools:

As the names suggest, the Facebook Auto Friend Request Sender lets you send friend requests to your desired prospects. And Instagram Auto Follow/Unfollow lets you either follow or unfollow the people you want.
Let’s understand the best ways to use these tools.

Facebook Auto Friend Request Sender

To use this tool, you simply need the profile URLs or handles of the people/ businesses you want to connect with. You can also upload a CSV file containing profile URLs or handles of your leads if you already have that data. 

Do not manually follow any Facebook profile while using this extension. Do not use this tool on two different groups/profiles at the same time.

You can switch the tab & work on other tasks. Just ensure that you do not close or refresh the tab on which the extension is running.

You can use the Facebook Group Scraper tool to curate a list of potential leads from a specific niche. Use that list to determine which people you want to connect with for your business/goals. Then, upload the data that you have gathered on the CSV file in the Facebook Auto Friend Request Sender & start sending friend requests. 

You can upload a list of 10,000 profiles to send auto friend requests. We suggest that you send friend requests to as many people as possible for better lead outreach.

The extension takes a cooling period of 20 minutes between each request to keep your account safe. The tool sends 72 requests in 24 hrs/1 day. 

I’d advise you to wait 6-24 hours before using any other extension. Using multiple extensions would rate-limit your account. Hence, you should only use one Facebook Auto Friend Request Sender extension tool at a time.

You can use this tool to increase your Instagram followers & reach the right audience. Follow tons of people to increase your followers. You can also set a max user limit on the number of people you want to follow. 

Following people from your competitor or your niche increases the lead conversion rate. You can also unfollow people who do not follow you back or if you don’t want to connect with them anymore.

To optimize your time, you can switch tabs & carry on with other tasks. The Instagram Auto Follow/Unfollow extension will run in the background. Do not refresh the page on which the extension is running.

General Key Points to Remember:

Avoid multiple automation tools: Stick to using one tool at a time to reduce the risk of your account getting flagged or banned. 

Follow the speed limit: Our team has set a sending speed limit for your account’s safety. Sending messages, friend requests, or follow/unfollow requests too quickly may result in your account getting flagged by social media platforms. 

Let the automation run on its own: Our outreach & other automation tools have built-in pauses between messages, friend requests, or any other requests sent to keep your account safe. Do not send any requests manually on social media platforms. Doing so might hinder your ongoing campaigns.
Example: If you are using Instagram Auto Message Sender, do not send any messages manually to any Instagram user. Let the automation tool run its course. Of course, you can stop the process anytime you see fit. 

Use multiple tools of the same platform: For best results, combine the power of multiple social media tools we’ve got for the same platform. What to do if you are stuck on a task?

If you are stuck on any of the tasks, follow the steps that I’ve mentioned below.

For Automation tools:

If you have a rate limit warning, do not worry; it’s a cool-down period for your account. The rate limit varies from one account to another. The more active & aged an account is, the fewer rate limit warnings it’ll get.
But if the rate limit timer exceeds for more than 24 hours, please contact our Live Support

Also, check if you can send messages or make a request manually.

If you get a blank screen, try to hard refresh. In google chrome, to hard refresh your page, press Ctrl+R(Windows/Linux) & for mac, press cmd+R.  

If it’s still the same, check for the following things:

  • If you have any other tab open for the same platform or
  • Is any other extension installed for the same platform?

If yes, please disable those extensions; they might be interrupting Prospectss tools.

Check if you have the latest version installed. You can update your extensions by copying & pasting the mentioned link into a new tab, “chrome://extensions.” 

You can also update your extensions by clicking on your Chrome browser’s 3 dots menu located at the top right-hand corner. Then More tools>Extensions. You need to enable the developer mode for updating your extensions. Simply click on the Update button & all your installed extensions will get updated.

 Even if that does not work, try uninstalling & re-installing the latest extension tool. You can find the tool by searching for the tool’s name on Google Chrome Store or our Website.
